Curriculum Day
This Friday 14th July is a Curriculum Day. Students are not required at school.
Exiting Students
If you have a child in Foundation through to Grade 5 who is planning to leave Toorak Primary School at the end of 2023 could you kindly email the office at toorak.ps@education.vic.gov.au. Thank you.
Dental Forms
We have Australian Dental Health Victoria coming to the school in the week of August 7th to administer FREE dental checks for all children.
- Parents must consent for children to be included. Forms were sent home with your child. If you didn't receive a form, spares are available from the office.
- Please return consent forms TO YOUR CLASSROOM TEACHER no later than WEDNESDAY 19th JULY if you would like them to have a dental check and clean.
A New Bed for Sickbay!
We have purchased a new bed for sickbay.
The bed is easily wiped which has eliminated the need for sheet laundering. Thank you to the TPS parent community for your very kind First Aid Fund donations.

The Lion King – Friends of The Performing Arts
As you all are aware The Lion King Musical will be held in the last week of this Term. Lantern Festival
The Spatzenschule will hold a Lantern Festival on the 3rd August 2023 from 5pm to 7pm at Toorak PS. Create your own lantern, enjoy a community lantern walk and food and drinks. Tickets go on sale soon on QkR.
Toorak Basketball Club - Prep and Beginners Training
Toorak Basketball Club will be running Beginners Training for Preps and Grade 1s in Term 3 on the grounds of Toorak Primary School.
Sessions will be every Monday morning 8.00am - 8.45am running from July 17th - September 11th inclusive.
Cost is $110 for the term with a $5 annual Basketball Victoria License.
Attire: Shorts, runners and school polo

Art Classes

Young Engineers
Term 3 enrolments are now open for Young Engineers Lego Robotics and STEM classes. Classes will be held each Thursday of the term from Thursday 21 July to Thursday 7 September from 3.30pm to 5pm in the library. Please click here for more details.
Trivia Night - Save the Date
Toorak Primary Trivia Night, Friday 18th August.
A night of fun, trivia and fundraising.

Interschool Skiing
The Victorian Interschools Snowsport Championships provides an opportunity to participate in various snowsports events across skiing, snowboarding and cross-country. Not only is it a rewarding experience for children at a recreational or competitive level, it’s a great way to represent TPS and have fun with other TPS families.
We encourage students from all ability levels to enter and support our team, with an emphasis on fun and participation, given they can do turns and ride a chairlift or T-bar.

The Fathering Project
Our Fathering Project events have been a great success so far – however we will be unable to continue running them without the support from Dads to make it all happen. The time commitment for this is minimal – 2-3 short online meetings in the lead up to the event and then support on the night to set-up and pack-down.
