Year 10 Health
The Year 10 students have been studying different diets. On Tuesday, they produced their snack / meal to represent their chosen diet, presented to their class and shared their special dish. We were also joined by the Year 9's, for a combined class! The students worked collaboratively together in the kitchen, then enjoyed some yummy meals at the end.
Pathways for Progress Information Night
Our Years 9 and 10 information night, Pathways to Progress, will occur on Wednesday 21st June 2023. This is the last Wednesday of Term 2. This information evening will provide information on subject selections for Years 10 and 11 in 2024. All families with a student in Years 9 or 10 are required to attend this important evening. Students will be given a hardcopy invitation to attend this week. Over the course of Term 3, students in Years 9 and 10 will be given the opportunity to engage in extensive course counselling with Miss King (10-12 Coordinator), Abby Mulquiny (Careers Support), and Miss Saunders (VET Manager) to assist them with relevant subject choices.
MIPs
There is one day of MIPs appointments left this term (Tuesday 13th June). Students and parents are invited to book an appointment with Sue using the sheet located on the 10-12 board, opposite Room 5.
Year 10 Pre-Driver Ed
Year 10 students will engage in the Pre-driver Ed program from Monday 19th – Wednesday 21st June (the last week of Term 2). A timetable will be provided closer to the date. Please note that there will be a night driving requirement on the Tuesday, 20th June.
