This week we participated in a variety of garden activities. Students have been studying 'hot and humid environments' and made their own mini hot house planting onion or lettuce seeds.

During term 1, we planted rhubarb seeds and placed them in the hot house to germinate. Today the seedlings were established enough to put in newspaper pots that we made. Each student will take their pot home today and they can be planted directly into the ground.

Using a variety of herbs and flowers from the garden we pressed them onto calico, making a pretty decorative piece to display.

We went down to the animals and spent some time with the baby goat.

What is the saying? Never work with animals and kids! This photo was an effort to get all looking at once!
