Once again, the week has been a busy one! Our VCE Unit 1 students have been undertaking end of unit exams. Students are encouraged to take on board any feedback provided by their teachers, as this will help them reflect on their revision and preparation strategies and ways in which they can increase their success when working under exam conditions. We also had a number of students compete in St. Arnaud for the LMR Cross Country and I congratulate them on their efforts and positive representation of our school.
Pupil Free Day – Friday 9 June
A reminder to families that we have a Pupil Free Day this Friday. Staff will be using this day to write end of semester reports.
King’s Birthday Holiday
Monday 12th June is a public holiday so staff and students will not be required at the College. Having a four-day break may be timely for many of our students who are feeling a little under the weather with seasonal colds and illness.
Parents Club
Tuesday 13th June, the Parent's Club are holding a meeting at 9am in Room 10.
Campaspe Downs Camp
Our Grade 4 to 6 students will head off to Campaspe Downs from Wednesday to Friday of next week. I have no doubt they will have an enjoyable experience and hopefully the weather will be kind and conducive to all of the great activities that have been planned.
VET Taster Day
On Friday 16 June the North Central Trade Training Centre will host students from our cluster schools as they attend our annual Try VET Day. This day is a great opportunity for students to gain insight into VET and what the different studies have to offer. The experiences from the day will help inform students regarding their VET selections for 2024.
