Writing - Recounts

In writing this week, 5/6 H have been focusing on writing recounts. Check out Tyson's excellent recount about our excursion to ecolinc

Last week the two five six classes ( Mrs Howard and Mrs Stark) went to Ecolinc in Pakenham.

When we got there we went into this huge room and learnt about the wetlands and waterways. We also learnt about the different animals and plants that lived in the wetlands. Then the two five six classes got split into two groups. Then got sent off to our activities.

The second thing we did was we went to this room and learnt what happens when you litter and pollute the waters. Then we went to the wetlands to test the water there.The first test we did was to test how dirty the water was. We also did another test to see how salty the water was.

Our last activities we did was catch little insects,plants and fish. After catching fish and insects we played on the massive playground everyone loved it .The playground is suitable for all different ages.

The Pakenham Ecolinc is AMAZING!! It’s fun and is suitable for everyone. I recommend going. I can't wait until next time we go.
