Principal's Reports

This week I got to have a chat with 4 prep students now that they have been at school for months and asked them some questions about their schooling.  Below are their responses.

Darcy- Enjoys learning especially writing.  He enjoyed planting trees at the front of the school.

Charlotte- Loves everything about school.  She enjoys Art and doing anything that involves unicorns.  Charlotte also enjoyed the cross country.

Steven- Was very enthusiastic about his schooling and couldn't think if one thing he likes the most.  But having a choice he would choose do do writing .  Steven also noted he loves going to OSCH club.

Hayley-Hayley loved the dinosaur excursion especially digging up the fossils.  When she grows up she is thinking of maybe being a zoo keeper. 

Community meeting

I would like to thank all the parents and staff that attended the meeting last week.  It was a great turn out and was a great opportunity to explain how school based decisions are made from a whole school context within DET guidelines.

Staffing

We congratulate Sarah Munday who has picked up a teaching position closer to home at Mount Martha PS.  We wish her well in her new role.  

As this is our last newsletter for the term I wish everyone a great holiday and see you all again in Term 3.
