BOOM Day - Next Thursday
Next Thursday (October 27) will be BANDANNA Day. This will be as part of the National Bandanna Day (celebrated officially on Friday 28th Oct) in which we as a School and individually can show our support for those people affected by cancer. Many in our own School Community have been affected and it would be good to get on board. There will be bandannas available to buy on the day, at a cost of $4.00, or wear one you may already have.
Each year another 23,000 young people (63 a day) have to deal with cancer – either their own or a close family member’s. Bandannas are a symbol of hope and empowerment and are worn proudly by young people at CanTeen. Every bandanna you buy will help CanTeen support young people affected by cancer.
Check out the website for more information on CanTeen & National Bandanna Day
