Parents and Friends Update
Welcome back from School Holidays. I trust you all had a great time with lots of sleep-ins. I for one enjoyed relaxing in the morning, without the rush and stress of the morning routine of making school lunches and trying to find lost school shoes/jackets/socks/readers etc etc.
We have another busy term ahead with Hot Chocolate Days, Father’s Day Stall, Book Fair and the Bunnings BBQ.
An order form for Hot Chocolate Days will be sent out this week. Hot Chocolate Days will run each Tuesday for five weeks commencing Tuesday 31st July. Forms and payment are to be returned to the office by Thursday 26th July. We are also looking for volunteers who are willing to help on the Tuesday morning between 9.30am – 11.30am to help make and serve the Hot Chocolate. If you are able to help please head into the office and write your details on the form on the front desk for Volunteers. We would love more parent involvement, even if you only available for two or three of the days.
See the picture of our brand new turf on the front cover of this Newsletter, which was installed during the school holidays. If you haven't had a chance to check out the new turf, please go and have a look. It's such a wonderful improvement to the playground and greatly increases the play areas and enjoyment of the yard by our children.
Thanks to everyone who has supported our fundraising efforts over the past 18 months. Every little bit help. Thanks also to the School Council who were an integral part of this process to get the Turf for the school and having it installed a lot earlier than expected.
Our next meeting will be held Wednesday 25th July at 9.30am. All welcome.
On behalf of the P&F Committee I’d like to welcome back Janene, you have been missed!
