Mid-Year Learning Expo

We hope that you have all marked in your diaries the time and date of our Mid-Year Learning Expo scheduled for Tuesday 26th June,  3:30 pm - 4:30 pm.

Families will have the opportunity to visit all learning communities commencing from 3:30pm and the Expo will conclude with a  performance of our 2018 Glee Club at 4:30pm.

This is a wonderful opportunity for families to engage in a celebration of the learning conducted over the first half of the year.

A full program of events will be published and distributed to families next week.

School Fees and Levies

At the end of May  Fee and Levy statements were sent out to all families. Thank you to all families who are up to date with payments for 2018. Just a friendly reminder that by the end of Term 2 the following payments need to have been made:

Pupil Levy:                    $440 per child   (due 28th February)

Fee Instalment 1:       $425 per family (due 29th March)

Fee Instalment 2:       $425 per family (due 29th June)

Capital Levy:                $100 (due 29th June)

Families who have set up online periodical payments for the year will naturally be up to date so thank you.

Prep 2019

Prep enrolments for 2019 are open and I ask that all families who have a child starting school here next year to collect an enrolment form from the school office (or download it from our website) and return it at your earliest convenience (applications close Friday 29th June).

If any family knows of other families with children due to commence school next year you may like to recommend our school and invite them to call me for a school tour.

PFA News

Last night the PFA met for the first time since April's AGM.

Belinda Miller was elected President for 2018 and we thank Belinda for her willingness to take on the role.

There was much talk about the year ahead and after reviewing the calendar of events we can confirm the following  celebrations are still to come in 2018:

* Fathers' Day Breakfast

* Fathers' Day Stall

* Footy Colours Day

* Movie Night/Afternoon

* School Disco

* End of Year Picnic/Concert

We also spoke about ways to aid Tony and his family in the coming months of treatment and recovery. It was agreed a whole school social event to help raise funds and spirits was the best way forward, so watch this space for more details on both a 'Kids Movie Afternoon' and a 'Grown Ups Movie Night'.

If you have any further ideas or suggestions please feel free to email us at pfa@cckingsville.catholic.edu.au or come along to the next PFA meeting that will be held on Tuesday 24th July at 7pm.

Kind Regards

Corpus Christi PFA Committee
