Student Art Gallery 2019

On the 8th November we held the Student Art Gallery 2019, which saw approximately 1200 student canvases on display. It was a huge success as we saw the art room transformed into a maze of boards displaying canvases created by each student in the school. Every year level had a different theme, which provided a visual feast for all those who visited. It was such a pleasure to see all of our students keen to show off their canvas to families and friends. Even though this event ran independently due to the Fete being postponed (traditional run alongside each other bi-annually) we still had a fabulous turn out, which was awesome to see. Thank you to everyone that attended and supported our students talents in the art room. Well done kids!

Grade Prep and Grade 2

Students continue to explore the 7 Art Elements through a variety of activities and we look forward to concluding the year with a major Christmas piece.

Grade 4 and Grade 5

Students have been introduced to the Steampunk style of art and have been busy designing and creating a Papier Mache book inspired by this theme. Students have been very enthusiastic about working on this new theme and we all look forward to the finished results.

Grade 6

The Grade sixes have now completed painting and embellishing their plaster masks and we are super excited to be displaying them all, for the first time, at their graduation ceremony in December. The standard and quality of the masks this year has been outstanding. Well done to our Grade 6 students. We are very proud of you.
