APLI Annual Forum

On 2 May 2020, APLI will be holding its annual forum. This is an important event for our organisation, as it is our main opportunity for members and interested parties to meet in a face-to-face setting. The purposes of the meeting are to:

•           Highlight current APLI activities in the Asia Pacific region

•           Provide an update regarding the development of palliative care in India as part of Project Hamrahi

•           Recruit of potential new members and volunteer mentors to assist with the above work

Since 2016, we have held the forum adjacent to another palliative care conference in order to allow attendees to potentially combine two professional events. With the conference for Palliative Care Nurses Australia (PCNA) being held in Melbourne next year, the details for our forum this year are:

•           Date: Saturday 2 May 2020

•           Venue: To be confirmed

•           Time: 12:00 to 17:00

Keep an eye out for further details in the coming months but in the meantime please save the date and be sure to allow an extra day in Melbourne if you are attending the PCNA conference.
