Menu

The canteen menu is updated regularly. In general, there is a Summer menu (1st and 4th terms) and a Winter menu (2nd and 3rd terms).

Please take note of the items available and their prices as they can change throughout the year.

Lunch Orders

When ordering through the canteen, please observe the following:

Clearly write your child’s full name, grade and order in blue or black pen on a brown paper bag.
One piece of tape is enough to hold a bag closed. If you’re concerned about money falling out, simply fold the top of the bag over twice before taping. PLEASE DO NOT STAPLE THE BAG.
Correct money should be provided.
Do NOT send in large amounts of money.

Volunteering

Our canteen manager, Lee Lee provides an exceptional service for our children, making fresh, healthy lunches each day from ingredients sourced at the market. To make this service feasible, we require the help of volunteers.

The canteen requires volunteer helpers at the following times

Monday 12:00 – 1:45

Tuesday 9:00 – 1:45

Wednesday 12:00 – 1:45

Thursday 9:00 – 1:45

Friday 12:00 – 1:45

On Tuesdays and Thursdays you can volunteer for a half shift (9:00-11:30 or 12:00-1:45)

To book in for a shift you can either

Visit the canteen in person and add you name to the calendar
Email canteen@cliftonhillps.vic.edu.au with days/times that you are available and we will get back to you.

NB – this email is only checked once each day and cannot be used for lunch orders

If you find you are no longer available for a shift you have booked, please visit the canteen or email to let us know.

NOTE: VOLUNTEERING AT THE CANTEEN FOR 4 SHIFTS EXEMPTS YOU FROM THE $80 BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS LEVY.
