KDC School Grounds

During the term holidays a number of Facilities projects have been undertaken. The areas between D and E block have had artificial turf installed. This follows the response from students who have made good use of the turf in Tanderrum Garden and outside the Science building. A number of tables refurbished by our Year 10

Pre CAL students have also been placed in these areas to provide areas for students to relax during their breaks. Some other works include:

• A new stage area is near completion and we look forward to its use in future music festivals.
• New strip heaters have also been added to the canteen area to keep you warmer this winter.
• Construction of a new study pod in the VCE section of the library (as part of the library refurbishment to be completed by early 2019).
• Installation of 25 new computers in G2.

Students are responsible for looking after these areas and ensure they remain clean and tidy. There will be more improvements to the learning environment in the coming months.
