Learning and Teaching
It has been wonderful to see the children back at school. They have settled back into their routines well and are enjoying working with their classmates. Their happy faces over the past week and this week have been a joy to see.
Year 1 and 2 community Virtual Tourists
The Year 1 and 2 community this term are focusing on learning about Victoria and the special places around our state. Over the last week, they were virtual tourists visiting some well-known sites. While they went on their virtual tour, they were asked to complete a See, Think, Wonder thinking routine. This meant that they had to write about what they saw, what they were thinking about and what wonderings they had as they were visiting the three locations. This routine gives the teachers and children an idea of what the community is wondering about and what more they would like to see and find out about Victoria and places that are special to us.
Take a look at the children’s responses below.
