Tourism

On Thursday the 28/10/2020 the year 11 Tourism class travelled to the Copper Coast to gather information for their investigations. 

We were greeted by the tourism manager for Kadina and Wallaroo at the information centre in Kadina. Lynn gave us a presentation about all the new developments happening in the area and the increase of visitors to the area since the COVID restrictions were lifted. She then took us on a driving tour of Kadina, Wallaroo and Monta, showing us all the new areas and infrastructure that was being developed. 

Some of the highlights we saw was the new sporting complex in Kadina that had at least 4 full sized basketball courts, the beautiful beach in Wallaroo and the sweet shop at the Moonta Mines. 

Overall it was a great trip and we got a lot of useful information and data to use in the investigations.
