From the Assistant Principal

Year 12's Class of 2020! 

On Friday of Week 2 the Year 12 students were farewelled at the Assembly organised by the SRC Team Members. These guys knew how to celebrate, and did an excellent job bringing tears to some people eyes. 

The eight students: Joel , Abe i, Hayden, Angela, Eli, Jaxon, Ali and Carlos.  

We wish them all the best, and will see them Week 5 Thursday the 12th of November for their Activities Morning, celebration dinner and Presentation Night in Week 9. 

SACE Head Start Sessions 

SACE Head Start Sessions are beginning in Week 6. This means that each Year 11 student will attend one early class on their Year 12 subjects for 2021. This allows them to have student agency in selecting possible topics of their choice from the subject outline. 

The same will occur for students in Year 10, who will in Week 7 attend one lesson of their Year 11 subjects for 2021. 

Sporting Schools Grant

In Term 4 we won a Sporting Schools grant which has allowed us to have Dave and Allen from NRL SA come out to visit our students. On Wednesday of Week 3, students from 7-10 (SJPS Year 7's attended too) enjoyed a fabulous day out learning new skills which they can take to their Thursday MNSEC Tag Rugby Carnival.  

Learning Centre

Upon visiting the Learning Centre Tech class, I found some fabulous projects going on with Miss Reeves.
