OurSchools Alumni Program

Alumni and friends of Ourschool who work at KPMG, including Summer Kittitanasuan, top right, Melbourne Girls’ College class of 2014, participated in an virtual Industry Insight Session on Friday, 9/10/2020.

As part of the Ourschool Alumni Program, MGC students from year 10-12 have the opportunity to attend virtual Industry Insight Sessions hosted by Ourschool featuring alumni from participating schools. The most recent session was held Friday, the 9th of October. Elise Dunstan, Ourschool Development Manager, moderated a session with seven KPMG employees who all work in different roles and teams within the firm. They discussed their pathways from high school to university and their positions within KPMG, one of the world's largest professional services firms, with over 200,000 people in 153 countries.

Summer Kittitanasuan, MGC class of 2014 was a guest speaker at the session, and is a consultant at KPMG working in international tax. Summer completed two semesters of exchange during her Uni studies, and an internship at another one of the ‘Big Four’ accounting firms, Deloitte. She credited the support of students and teachers at MGC as having helped her on her professional path.
