Stop-motion

During the last few weeks, Grade 2 have been planning a stop motion in Media Arts, part of the Arts curriculum. A stop motion is when we take photos of characters in scenes and play them altogether to make a video. An example of stop motion is Shaun the Sheep! We had to fracture a fairy tale and draw it on a storyboard before we could make our sets and characters. We enjoyed working as a team and learnt to use the imotion app to create them.

“I liked moving the characters when we took the photos” – Damon

“I had lots of fun making the characters and so did my group.” - Serena

“I enjoyed changing the settings and working with my group” – Lola

“I liked creating scenes because we got to choose what happened” – Joe

“At the end I felt excited to see what other people did” – Isabella

“I thought it was fun to make the background because I could choose the settings.” –Oliver G

Congratulations!
