Community Liturgy

NB Next week Community Liturgy will be on Thursday 21 as Secondary students will be off-site for the Sr Mary Murray Swimming Carnival on Friday.

 

Thank you to students and teachers in Year 9 who prepared the readings for, and welcomed people to, our Community Liturgy this morning.

 

Next week the Liturgy will be prepared by the Sports Captains as well as HomeRoom leaders in Years 8-11. They will also receive a blessing and their badges.

 

All are welcome.  If you are new to the College or have not previously attended Mass, just come to the Chapel at 8:00am.  There are no reserved seats or special places and, as all the responses are on a PowerPoint, it is quite user-friendly.

Sacrement Program

Do you have a child in Year 3, 4 or 6?

 

Children in Years 3, 4 and 6 prepare to celebrate, respectively, the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation in their own ‘home’ parish.  Parents are reminded to enroll their children in parish Sacrament programs as soon as possible.

 

Some of our local parishes have supplied information for parents. A brief summary of dates is provided below, but please check the College website or approach the Parish Priest directly for more detailed information and requirements.  No two parishes are the same – so there will be some variation in how the parish Sacrament Program is administered.
