Christmas Wishes

Although we are finishing extremely late this year I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. This is a time for families and friends to come together and celebrate. It’s a time to take stock of what is actually important to us and what is just noise. Enjoy this time with your children and do as much as you can with them over the break. It will only be a blink of an eye before they will be old enough to disappear with their friends over the holidays and you will be considered “getting in their way”.

Keep your children active, stimulate their creativity and encourage them to play outside. Taking calculated risks helps build resilience and prepares children for future success. I hope all your Christmas wishes come true but you’ll have to line up behind me for those who picked Tattslotto!

UNSW Tests 2017

Kingswood continues to perform above bench marks set in numerous subjects across different year levels. Kingswood as a whole, should be very proud of our collective results, throughout the UNSW tests. Even though there were some outstanding results some particular efforts need to be highlighted. We had a number of students who received high distinctions for their work. I would like to congratulate the following students

Yan - High Distinction in both English and Mathematics Year 3

Mathias - High Distinction in English Year 3

Jeuno - High Distinction Digital Technologies Year 4

Meagan - High Distinction Writing Year 5

Congratulations to all our students who participated.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone. I look forward to seeing you in 2018. To those families who are leaving for the last time it has been a blast!
