Peer Support Training

On Tuesday and Wednesday this week the Year 9 cohort converged on St. Patrick’s primary school to undertake peer support training. The students completed a range of activities to build an understanding of what makes a good leader.  From different leadership styles to the importance of communication, the students worked in small groups to complete relevant tasks. Students have since been asked to complete an application form to be considered as a potential peer support leader for 2019.

The peer support program sees year 10 leaders completing an 8 week program with year 7 2019 to help them build resilience and be able to cope with unfamiliar circumstances.
