College Prayer

Jesus Good Shepherd, teach us, through your Spirit, to walk your way of light,

to live your way of truth and in all things to act with love and compassion.

Help us to come to the Father by knowing you, loving you and serving you  in each other.

May our school be a place of wonder, learning and peace, where the lessons of today

prepare us for the challenges of tomorrow.

May your Mother, Mary, guide our footsteps as she guided yours.

This prayer we make in faith. Amen.

The Marian Catholic College Prayer is said most days at school. Our new students here for “Oh! Day” will learn it quite soon. It has special significance for them today as they join us. We pray that find their time with us to be full of “wonder, learning and peace...where the lessons of today prepare us for the challenges of tomorrow…”

Dear Parents, Students and Friends,

Today the College welcomed our Year 7 2019 students for Orientation. It has been called “Oh Day” for quite a few years for the reason that some much happens that is surprising for students to learn. At the moment there are 115 students enrolled, which is about the usual number for Year 7.  We wish them a successful day, leaving them with a strong desire to make the most of the opportunities that will come their way as a student of Marian.

The final HSC exams are now completed, we farewell Year 12 2018 next Friday, commencing with the 5:30pm Mass at the Marcellin Hall and afterwards moving to the Yoogali Club for dinner.

Congratulations to Mrs Lora Segrave who has been appointed Co-Assistant Principal (Acting) of Marian Catholic College, commencing in 2019. Initially, this new initiative, supported by Catholic Education, Wagga Wagga will be for 2019 and become permanent in 2020. In other appointments, Mr John Seers has taken up a new position in the College as Leader of Curriculum. We wish them both every success in the year to come.

Peace and Best Wishes
