Welcome back to all our students and families.

Firstly, we would like to welcome Jaclyn Powell to our careers team.

Jaclyn has moved from the administration team, where she has worked for 8 years in a variety of roles here at our College, to careers and will support students’ Years 7 to 9 in the Wargomerrin hub. Her role will be to assist students in their career journey.

 Upcoming Career Events:

• Friday March 24th- Access Monash Mentoring trip to Federation University Churchill.
• Monday 3rd April- Year 10 Federation University (Gippsland) campus visit.  
• Friday 5th May 2022-Years 11 & 12 12 Careers Expo- Caulfield racecourse

VCE/VCAL 2022 

Congratulations to all our 2022 VCE and VCAL Graduates. Many students have already commenced their chosen career paths in apprenticeships and traineeships. We are very excited to see many of our VCE students receive their first preference in the recent tertiary offers. 87 percent of our Year 12 VCE students who applied for a university offer, have received one.

We wish all our students all the very best in their transitions to university, TAFE and work. It has been a very difficult few years for our graduates, and we are so proud of all their achievements. 

Remember, your best shot at success is finding something that incorporates all your strongest values. This is how you will find your chosen career.

All students are welcome to visit careers. We have an appointment book just outside our career’s office in the Malgobila Hub. Our office hours are 8.00 am- 4.00 pm Monday -Friday.

Student communication about careers and opportunities are updates weekly via the Compass newsfeed pages.

Career events, excursions, apprenticeship/traineeship opportunities, guest speakers, are shared with students via this page, so please keep an eye out for the latest opportunities.

Students are strongly encouraged to research our school careers website. Students can use career targets to help them identify career interests.

Come to the careers team and just chat about what’s important to you in your life. We may just find a career for you that drives your passion!
