Global Citizen Awards & Assembly Performances

Students will be presented with the GCA certificates at assembly at 3:00pm on Monday 5th December

Parents are welcome to attend. Mask wearing is strongly recommended.

Foundation

Gabriel V  -  Respect

For showing great kindness and being a nice friend during transition to a new student that will be joining Ormond Primary School next year!

Ella P  -  Persistence

Ella demonstrates persistence throughout her reading. She applies different reading strategies such as Stretchy Snake and Chunky Monkey to help her with challenging words, as well as practises her reading at home every night and on weekends. Keep up the hard work Ella!

Year 1

Isla S  -  Respect

For showing a great level of respect to those around her and always encouraging and helping friends when they are in need. Well done Isla!

Max M  -  Quality Learning

For his constant enthusiasm towards all school activities and always putting 100% effort into his work. Amazing work Max!

Year 2

Joshua  G  -  Quality Learning

For working extremely hard on his reading and writing and as a result has made great gains. Well done Josh! 

Nina T  -  Persistence 

Nina demonstrated persistence throughout her poetry writing. She always maintains a positive attitude and work ethic. Nina uses resources around the classroom to assist her when needed.

Year 3

For demonstrating respect for herself and others in the classroom by giving everyone the opportunity to listen and learn. 

Jayden J  -  Excellence

For excellence in technology, demonstrating his coding skills with his 3D game ‘Awesome Alien Journey’ and his powerpoint skills with his Colonising Mars project. Well done, Jayden!

Year 4

Olivia M  -  Respect

Olivia has been a wonderful support to our new student in 4A, guiding her through the ways of the school enthusiastically, considerately and respectfully. 

Catherine Z  -  Quality Learning

For her ability to work independently in class and for always giving 100% to everything she does at school.

Year 5 

Alex Y -  Excellence

Alex demonstrates excellence in everything he does, as demonstrated in his leadership speech, which he wrote and presented with maturity and a sense of humour. A great speech Alex!

Emma L  -  Persistence

Emma always puts in 100% effort to her work in class and the leadership roles she has taken on in 2022. Her enthusiasm for learning and school is inspirational!

Nicholas S  -  Persistence

For his  resilience and persistence during his Leadership speech. Well done for completing your speech even though you were nervous. Your persistence was fantastic to see, well done Nicholas.

Year 6

Philip O  -  Quality Learning 

Philip has shown improved focus and working stamina to stick at tasks and achieve more from learning time. His writing pieces and reading reponses show greater depth with less guidance. Well done!

For her dedication to learning the lyrics to our graduation song. You are leading the class during our rehearsals. Well done, Gigi!
