Sun Smart Hats
Children will need to wear a hat during outdoor play when the UV rating is at 3 or above.
Please make sure your child brings a sun smart hat with them to OSHClub each day.
Hats can be kept in school bags or in our hat tub at OSHClub.

We will be running full day programs on Wed 21st December, Thursday 22nd December and Monday 30th January. Operating hours are from 7:00am - 6:00 pm. Bookings are now open for these three days under the Pupil Free Day room.
Holiday Program Care Bookings
Online bookings for the January Holiday Program are now open. To book, please go to your iParent Portal account.
OSHClub is currently offering a 20% discount on any holiday program bookings made before the 21st December. To take advantage of this offer, book online and use the code earlybird20.

OSHClub will close for the year at 6pm on Dec 22nd and reopen on the 9th Jan - 30th Jan.
During the holiday program, children will need to bring a morning and afternoon snack, lunch, a bottle of water and a sun smart hat. We will have Coles brand sunscreen on hand, but children are also welcome to bring their own.

Making and Doing at OSHClub
We have begun a Friday afternoon dinosaur club, inspired by a few store bought dinosaur fossils that were brought to OSHClub recently. We decided to make our own frozen Ice Age dinosaur eggs using baking soda. The eggs were carefully hatched with the help of vinegar.
Enrolling Your Child
For new enrolments, please go to https://www.oshclub.com.au/register/
Please be careful to select Mount Pleasant Road OSHClub, not Mount Pleasant OSHClub, which is in WA. CRN numbers and date of birth must be entered correctly. If not, this will affect your eligibility for the Child Care Subsidy.
Once your enrolment is complete it will be forwarded to the service for review. Any questions, please feel free to contact us on the Mount Pleasant OSHClub program phone - 0427 144 945.
COVID Risk Management
- The program will be run outdoors at much as possible.
- Social distancing will be encouraged (we may make use of the Art Studio to facilitate this).
- Children will be need to wash their hands when they arrive, as well as before eating. Children's handwashing will be supervised, and effective handwashing practices demonstrated as needed.
- Afternoon tea will be eaten outdoors.
- High touch surfaces will continue to be sanitised with a spray sanitiser and antibacterial wipes before and after each session.
An OSHClub staff member will continue to sign children in and out on the iPad until further notice.
The health and safety of all children in our care remains our top priority. We continue to follow all directives received from the Government to ensure best practice is adhered to in the management of COVID-19. Our COVID-19 Risk Assessment is updated regularly and in-line with government changes, and is available to view on request.
Cancellation of Bookings
IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an after school care session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:15pm.
We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive to after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident and will need to be referred to police.
As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!

Online bookings for the Holiday Program and Curriculum Days close 5 days in advance.
