Communicating with our School
There are a number of ways information is communicated to our community. The bulk of our communication including newsletters, excursion forms and specific school-wide information is sent via email to both parents/carers of each child. The email will appear in your inbox from GREENWITH PS EdSmart Notice with the sender being forms@edsmart.com Please check to make sure the emails are not in your junk folder.
School Absences & the Skoolbag app
If your child is going to be absent from school, or if they will be arriving late, please contact the school before 8:50 am through our Skoolbag app. Please view the attachment at the bottom of this page for more detailed information.
Alternatively, you can call the school on 8289 8100 (press 1 for student absentees). Please include your name, your child's name, class and the reason for the absence/late arrival in your message. If your child is not present after roll call a text message will be sent to the primary parent/guardian.
Late Arrivals & Early Departures
If your child arrives after the bell at 8:50 am they will need to come to the front office and sign in. If it is necessary for your child to be collected early from school please ensure that you visit the front office first to collect a sign-out slip, this slip is then to be taken to the class and given to your child’s teacher. This will ensure that the teacher knows that your child is authorised to be collected. PLEASE NOTE: A message via Bloomz is NOT a formal notification of absence. Absences must go through Skoolbag or via the front office only.
Communicating with Us
Any notes/concerns can be communicated via email, Bloomz or a phone call. Part of our core business is to develop independent and responsible citizens. We respectfully ask that we as adults, model respectful and courteous behaviours in all communications. We understand, at times, that there may be concerns regarding your child; this is best communicated via the email addresses which were sent out in the Teacher Introduction Letters. We try to respond promptly, however, please allow 2 working days to receive a response.

Bloomz
Bloomz is used as a communication app between parents and teachers and works on both your smartphone as well as your computer. You will receive quick updates and photos of class activities. By now, you should have received a code from your class teacher/s to help you connect. Please refer to the attachment at the bottom of this page for further instructions.
