Join our team - Entry Level Floor Staff role

• Tatra Receptions is one of Melbourne’s leading wedding reception venues, located in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges. 

• We are looking for friendly, well presented and team oriented individuals to join our team in our entry level Floor Staff role.

About Tatra Receptions 

Tatra Receptions is a historic property, set on 10 acres of magnificent grounds in Mount Dandenong. 

Each year, we recruit Floor Staff to join our team on a permanent Part Time basis. 

This is a great role for individuals who would like to take on Part Time work in addition to studies at School or University. 

About the Floor Staff role 

Our Floor Staff are responsible for working as a team to provide excellent customer service at our wedding venue, assisting in our kitchen and preparing our venue for each wedding. The role involves a variety of shifts including:

• Floor - food and beverage service during wedding receptions 

• Set up - preparation of our ballroom ready for guests to arrive 

• Yard - preparation of our outdoor areas, ready for weddings 

• Dish - washing dishes, cutlery, utensils and pots with our commercial dish washer The Floor Staff role is suited to School & University students as previous work experience is not required. 

We will train you on everything you need to know. 

Shifts will take place midweek & on weekends, with Floor & Dish shifts taking place in the evening and Set Up & Yard shifts taking place in the morning. 

There is scope for Floor Staff to progress to Bartender and Wedding Coordinator roles at our venue. 

Sister Venues 

Tatra Receptions has two sister venues, Nathania Springs in Monbulk and Elizabethan Lodge in Blackburn. 

After completing training at Tatra Receptions, there will opportunities for more shifts in the same Floor Staff role at our sister venues as well.
