Parents & Friends' (PFA)

Welcome to the New Year everyone!

It was great to see so many at the coffee van on Monday.   A big thanks to Margaret Carlei for getting it organised. It was great to catch up with everyone and meet the new parents on their first day.

The first PFA meeting for 2023 was held on Tuesday 31st Jan and our 2023 committee got straight into action planning out lots of activities for the year. Here’s what’s coming up in term 1:

Friday's Cake Raffle

This year we will have a cake roster drawn at random to allocate a Friday for each family to supply a cake (baked or store-bought).  The family will supply the cake, tickets are sold at school for 20 cents each or 6 for $1.  All profits will be used towards new books for our library.   We will send out information once the roster is finalized.

Wednesdays Icy poles!!

$0.50 each Wednesday during Term 1 and 4, Zooper Dooper icy poles are sold.  If you think your child would like one, don't forget to send 50 cents to school with your child/ren.

Friday 10th February Picnic On The Green from 6.00pm

Join us for a BYO picnic on the Green (the area in the playground near the Padua Pavilion). Bring something for yourself or something to share. The PFA will be on hand with a sausage sizzle and soft drinks for sale.

Saturday 18th February Dad’s Day Out

Scott and Troy have promised another elegant afternoon/evening.

Sunday 26th February Working Bee

Thursday 6th April Easter Raffle!

The committee has also been working with Margaret Carlei and the teaching group to assess the school needs and where the PFA can help with fundraising/funding. We are working through the final details and look forward to sharing the results with everyone soon.

Thanks to those who have already volunteered to be class liaisons. We still have spots to fill so please shoutout if you want to know more. We’ll share the class liaison list once it is finalised.
