Careers Expo Day

Our Senior school Careers Expo Day will be held on Wednesday 11th August and will be a virtual and remote experience for year 10, 11 and 12 students.

This day offers an opportunity to access information from Universities, TAFES and Industry representatives.  Our speakers will present information on further study, share what life looks like in tertiary institutions, discuss desired pathways, as well share their individual journeys.

The Careers Expo Day is an integral part of a students’ career education.  It provides an opportunity for students to receive information and engage and ask questions of the people living the life that students may be aspiring to.

Whether students are thinking of a University course, a TAFE course, heading straight to industry, or are completely uncertain of what life looks like after Doncaster Secondary College, the 2021 Career Expo Day provides another important avenue in a student’s career education.  It is a must go-to event for students looking to get well-prepared and informed for the future pathways that lay ahead!

Stay tuned for details about how to link into this event.

VTAC Application Process

The 2022 course application process through VTAC, opened for Year 12 students this week. Presentations held during the week outlined the various steps to make course preferences as well as applications for Scholarships and special consideration (SEAS).

Students are encouraged to commence the process early and then continue to seek information and advice as they refine their preferences over the coming months.

All senior students should be connecting with the numerous Open Day events that are being held during August. Most events are ‘virtual’ again this year. Details and links to register for events can be found on the Doncaster Careers website Calendar, and through this information page.
