Year 6 Science Week

Immersion

Last week, year 6 had a STEM immersion day, where we focused on the threats facing our marine turtles and the solutions being developed to protect them and their habitat. We were so impressed with the level of engagement and ideas generated by our students. Their genuine care and concern for protecting and our marine life makes us very hopeful for the future of our environment. These are some of the posters the students created about the threat to marine turtles and their designs for turtle nest protectors to help ensure the survival of the turtle eggs and hatchlings.
