International Buddies

MGSC initiated a five-week International Student Buddy pilot program where MGSC students connect with students from other countries. 

Participants from overseas included Chinese and Cambodian school students. There was much excitement from students and everyone expressed their strong interest in making friends across the world. This opportunity creates a bridge in exchanging knowledge about their culture through their connection. 

The weekly topics include information such as getting to know you, culture sharing, global citizenship, sustainability and designing a logo for their t-shirt or tote bag. We hope to expand this opportunity to include more students in the future.
