Science Week

Welcome to remote Science week! 

Science week 2021 is running from 16 to 20 August and the STEAM team has many fun activities planned.

Daily science quizzes (via google forms) are running throughout the week, quizzes will be sent out via email and winners will be given cool prizes so don’t forget to keep an eye on your email.

There is a poster competition for all the talented MGSC students. All you need to do is make a poster based on this year’s theme, Food by Design and send it to us. The winner will be announced on Monday 23 August so make sure you email your entries before Sunday to Ms Gilbert (09101003@mgsc.vic.edu.au).

We have some fun experiments you can try at home here. Send us pictures of you guys trying it out for cool prizes! Watch some cool food science-related movies here.

We also have a game-making competition and to compete all you need to do is, make an account with https://make.gamefroot.com/ go to the dashboard, and play around with tutorials to get the hang of it, then go crazy with creating your own game. 

Once you’re done, click on the share icon in the top right corner and copy a shareable link and send it to Ms. Leong (09931826@mgsc.vic.edu.au) or Ms. Gilbert (09101003@mgsc.vic.edu.au) before Thursday 26 August.
