Whole School Assembly Roster
Parents, caregivers and family members are welcome to attend our fortnighly whole school assemblies. Staff and students enjoy the opportunity to share the exciting learning which takes place at West Beach Primary School.
Classes take it in turns preparing and presenting the assembly which is held on the Friday of each 'even school week' at 12:15pm till 1:00pm.

Buddy Class Reading
Classes across the school 'buddy-up' on a regular basis to support reading programmes. This is a wonderful opportunity where students in year 6/7 act as mentors to students in the junior primary classes and assist with both reading to the younger students as well as listening to them read. Just as importantly however, the initiative also serves as another opportunity for students in the senior years to demonstrate their leadership skills and to share their enjoyment of reading. It is wonderful to see that both the older students as well as the younger students genuinely look forward to their time spend reading together.

Room 2 Swimming News
Students from reception to year 5 have had two weeks of swimming lessons which they have all totally enjoyed. CJ said, "I enjoyed laying down in the water". Kosta said, "I really enjoyed swimming". "I enjoyed jumping under water," said Bryn. Please enjoy some photos of our little swimmers as they improve their swimming skills.
Jacob Makes the News!
Jacob from room six had a fabulous day at the Adelaide Clipsal 500 during the week as part of a special event planned by the Variety Club. He enjoyed the opportunity to see and drive in many of the Ferarri sports cars and even doing laps of the race track. His exciting day was capped off by filmed for segments on both channel 7 and channel 10 news.
