PFA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Thank you to those Parents who attended last week’s PFA AGM. The following people were elected as PFA Executive Officers for the 2019 year:

We thank the above people for their ongoing commitment to the PFA together with Jean Lee who has stepped down as Treasurer this year. We also thank those Parents who have committed to attending PFA Executive Meetings to assist in the planning and management of events in 2019. I encourage all Parents to become involved in both the PFA Executive Meetings and events.
KNOX COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS SUPPORT
The Knox Community Christmas Support ‘Sharing The Joy’ project is looking for people willing to assist this year. This project supports families and individuals in the Knox city area who are in financial hardship, by providing a Christmas hamper of festive food and a selection of quality gifts for children up to age 16. Last year they provided over 600 hampers for families and individuals, and gifts for more than 500 children and teens

SCHOOL BANKING
School banking takes place on each Tuesday of the School Term.
There are some interesting reward for this term and maybe some from previous terms (depending on availability).
Twister Power Handball – Released Term 1
Glow Light – Released Term 2
Sparkle Glitter Pens – Released Term 2
Mighty Boom Handball – Released Term 3
Heat Reactor Pencils – Released Term 3
Slushie Maker Cup – Released Term 4
Zoom Flying Disc – Released Term 4
These reward items take about 1-2 weeks to be delivered back to school after putting through the orders. Please send through the redemption as soon as possible.
Last Day for redemption will be on Tuesday the 20th November. And orders after this date will be risking of picking up the reward next year.
Last Day for school banking will be on 4th December.
2ND HAND UNIFORM SHOP
The Uniform Shop is located just next to the Multi-Purpose Hall and student drop off area.
The Uniform Shop will open from 8:30am - 9:30am each Wednesday during the Term.

PFA President
PARENT PARTICIPATION HOURS
To support various school events and activities during the year we strongly encourage families to volunteer their time.
Notices will be sent out for activities you can help with, such as school carnivals, covering library books, ice pole Fridays, 2nd Hand Uniform Shop, PFA events, classroom help and working bees.
Parents are required to record the hours they have completed in the Parent Hours Book which is kept in the College office. You will be charged a Parent Participation fee of $250 at the commencement of each year and will be credited at the end of the semester for any work done. You will be credited at a rate of $25 per hour of work completed, up to a maximum of $250 for the year. The time requirement for each family is ten hours per year.
