I’m taking on the 21km Walking Stars challenge this December because I want to do something for all people facing cancer. Did you know that 1 Victorian is diagnosed with cancer every 15 minutes? From the moment that person hears the words ‘you have cancer’, their life will never be the same again. The emotional, physical and financial toll of a cancer diagnosis is far reaching.By fundraising through Walking Stars, I’m hoping to change that. I’m hoping we can reduce the burden of a cancer diagnosis, so people who have to face this insidious disease can survive their diagnosis and move on from the experience.It would mean so much to me if you helped me reach my fundraising goal by contributing a donation towards cancer research, prevention and support services.
