9 – 12 Years Competitive Swimming Carnival – Wednesday 1st December

If your child is 9 – 12 years of age this year, you would have received a swimming carnival nomination form. These forms are due back to the office by this Friday 12th of November so that we can start to finalise a program and invoice families whose child will be attending. This is a competitive only carnival with 50m races across all strokes. Students who nominate to participate will be racing for age champion and 2022 district nominations and should be able to swim 50m unassisted. We hold this carnival at the end of each year as district nominations for 10 – 12 years, are due early in Term 1 the following year. It is very difficult to secure a pool and arrange for parent permissions and payments in the first week of each new school year, hence the carnival being held the previous year.

We are looking forward to celebrating the end of primary schooling with all the students and their families. Yr. 7 Transition to High School – PBC & ESHS – 6th December

PBC and ESHS will be holding their 2022 Year 7 transition day on Monday 6th of December (Wk. 10). If your child will be attending either of these high schools in 2022, you need to enrol your student as soon as possible so that they are able to attend the transition day. This transition day is critical for students so that they are aware of their classes and locations for the start of next year. If you are yet to enrol, please make contact with either school this week to begin the enrolment process.

Students not Returning

If your child is not returning in 2022, please email the school office on admin@palmbeachss.eq.edu.au or call on 5520 8333.
