Junior School Report

The Year 7 Expo was held on Tuesday March and the students worked very hard to present nice rooms and information to showcase to their families. The evening was well attended and parents were very interested in the learning activities.

Families were welcomed by the Junior Sub School Leader, Mrs Lauren Honeycombe, and College Principal Ms Kerrie Dowsley, after partaking in a sausage sizzle which was cooked and served by the School Captains, House Captains and Junior School coordinators. Parents were entertained by a singing group performance on the evening. Students were responsible for escorting groups to the various rooms to meet teachers and have a look at some of the work that has been done by students so far this year. Thank you to all the families who attended.

Term 1 Progress Reports are now available for families to see how their child is progressing. Please contact your Coordinator if you have any concerns.

In Integrated Studies – Students are learning some History of Australia and completing Timelines.  The Year 8 students are studying Medieval History. Students are earning their Bunsen Burner Licences in Science.

Japanese classes are studying the various alphabets and symbols. In French and Italian, the students are learning greetings and participating in role-plays and are writing profiles about themselves in their LOTE
