National Ride Day

National Ride to School Day

Friday 13 March was National Ride to School Day. Ride to School Day is all about celebrating active transport and enjoying the benefits of riding to school.

Our rapidly growing peloton of student cyclists were treated to fruit, lolly snakes and various bits of cycling paraphernalia at the bike hoops upon their arrival.

Several students spoke about recent mountain biking trips, including a high intensity trip to the Bike Buller Festival at Mount Buller over the March Long Weekend.

Cycling is the most efficient form of human transport yet invented.  Cycling is virtually free of carbon emissions and is a sure fire way of beating traffic congestion.  Start pedaling everybody.
