Collaborative Communities

Thanks to Eat Up Australia, since Term One this year, Cheltenham Secondary School has been receiving ready made sandwiches to distribute to students who otherwise would have missed out on something to eat during their school day. You may be surprised that hunger is an issue in your local community.

We thought we’d like to recognise and support  the fine people behind Eat Up Australia. So, together with local fresh food delivery company, Amalocal and our PFA member Mary Lucas, $300 was raised and donated to Eat Up Australia. This was achieved through donations collected from Amalocal customers which also gave them the opportunity to go into a draw for a free consultation with Mary Lucas (a registered Dietitian and Nutritionist).

A great example of how as  individuals we can make a difference.

If you’d like to know more about the people behind this collaboration, take a look at their websites, and maybe you can support, donate or just be aware of what they do.
