Junior School

In week 5 of remote learning, 1/2C used ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’ in our literacy sessions to identify and explain important information from the text.

Students also practised using their persuasive skills when they pretended to be Duncan from the story and wrote a letter to a crayon to encourage them to return home.

Over the past two weeks we have also been learning about fractions and students have shown they are able to recognise fractions of shapes and fractions of collections.

On behalf of the Junior School teachers I would like to say a massive thank you to all the parents. You have played an incredible role supporting the students at home and we appreciate and value all the work that you have done to make remote learning successful.
