Wellbeing for Parents Webinar
This session is offered to parents in the Whitehorse Community who are looking for coping strategies, opportunities for self-care and wellbeing boosters.
It will be run by Georgina Manning the Director of Wellbeing For Kids, a registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist and owner of ‘Elk Wellbeing’ allied health centre in Fitzroy North, Melbourne.
In this session, Georgina will cover:
- Coping strategies for challenging times
- Importance of Self-Care for Parents
- Simple yet powerful Mindfulness exercises to decrease stress
- Wellbeing Boosters to boost mood, energy and outlook

Time: 7pm – 7:45pm (with 15 minutes for questions/discussion)

Webinar: Supporting Teen Students with Sensory Strategies to Relieve Anxiety
Charlinda Parsons, Occupational Therapist, will offer ways to explore practical
sensory strategies to support your teen as they learn from home.
Targeted to parents of 10-18 year olds
To provide parents the opportunity to gain knowledge of:
Strategies to help your young person concentrate.
Strategies to help regulate their bodies to relieve anxiety.
Sensory tools that your young person could use in the home when learning remotely.
