School Grounds and Facilities

New Sheds

The incredible group of parent volunteers involved with our Buildings and Grounds sub-committee have continued their work to keep our school looking great and working beautifully.

Prior to stage 4 restrictions being introduced, Damon Van Horne,  Andrés López Vidal, Marko Vukobrat and Nemanja Milovanovic spent a Saturday building a new storage shed next to our new playground. This shed will be used to house our barbeques, trestle tables and marquees - meaning they are far easier to access during our school events. I for one will not miss trying to drag the heavy, awkward barbeques around the series of ramps and steps to the old shed at the back of the school.

A huge thank you to these parents, along with planning and preparation from Paul Yates and Greg Manonian for helping the school in this way.

In future weeks these parents will build a larger shed on the fence line to allow staff easier access to sports equipment during sports lessons.

This work will provide the school with far greater storage areas in the spaces that we need them and so make everyone's jobs easier.

If there are any parents keen to get involved with this group then please see the details of our sub-committees on the 'help' page of this newsletter.
