We Need You!

Help needed

In the last newsletter, we put out a call for help in writing two grant applications and were so impressed and thankful for the response at such a busy time. These grants are now written and submitted and are far stronger thanks to our wonderful school community. Thanks in particular to Sonya Stephen for her time and effort in writing the applications.

Something else that the school is starting to do is review and improve how we communicate.

We know that currently we have a variety of different communication platforms (Compass, Konnective, this newsletter, Seesaw, email, assemblies, Facebook)  and, when things get busy, important information can get lost.

Our School Council have committed to setting up a working party to lead this review and recommend changes to our communications to make life simpler and more straightforward for everyone. 

If you feel that you have skills or experiences that might help with this process of reviewing, surveying and analysing our community on our current communications, we would love to hear from you.

Sub-committees

As well as the above group, our school has a number of permanent working groups called sub-committees. These groups are made up of staff members and dedicated parents who meet ten times a year with a focus to make our school a better place.

Sub-committees are open for anyone to join and rely on the energy, ideas and hard work of parents to improve the school experience for all of our students.

With COVID-19 restrictions, all meetings are currently held via Zoom so why not join one of our upcoming meetings to find out more and get involved?
