Welcome back to Term three. It is pleasing to see the majority of our students settling into their classes and focusing on their school work during this unsettling time. There are lots on important messages sent via Compass and google classroom, so please encourage students to be checking these daily.
Parent Teacher Interviews are on 28 July and it is essential for students to make appointments to receive feedback from teachers. This is especially important so that students can continue to improve and ensure they are working toward their goals.
VCE
ALL students completing a Unit 3 and 4 subject are required to complete the practice GAT on 28/7/2020 during periods 1 - 4. Students will receive feedback from an external marker in preparation for the actual GAT. Students are able to go home at the completion of the GAT or remain at school in the Common Room or the Silent Study Room in the Library.
Year 12
Form Photos: We will be taking “fun” Form photos for students to keep as a momentum of Year 12 . Students will be informed when their Form will be photographed and need to be here on the specific day and time.
Graduation
Given the current Covid 19 situation, we are still unsure about the arrangements for the Graduation. Please wait to purchase any expensive items of clothing etc until we know more. Thanks for your patience.
Year 11
Year 12 2021 Jumpers. The design has been finalised and the cost will be $90. A note will be
sent home soon advising students how to order. Please note we do not allow nicknames on
the jumpers.
Year 12, 2021 Leadership Camp
This will be February 3 to 5, 2021 at Federation University in Ballarat. The approximate cost will be $220. CSEF can be used to pay for the camp. Notes and forms will be sent home shortly. Please prepare for this. It is a well-loved camp and students have lots of fun!

VCE KEY DATES: these apply to all students studying a Unit 3 and 4 subject
- Connect Lectures will take place the week of 10 - 14 August. These are lectures provided to the students by the organisation Elevate. University students who excelled in subjects will present. NGSC is meeting the cost. A specific timetable will be released next term.
- Advanced notice for practice exams in September school holidays, Monday, 28 September to Friday, 2 October. All students are expected to attend. Students need to organise work shifts, etc. to be free for this.
