Stocktake

I cannot believe it is that time of year again and I am not talking about Christmas….STOCKTAKE!!!

All library resources are now being recalled for stocktake. Students can still borrow during this time but if you have been getting those pesky notices saying your child has an overdue book then now is the time to find the overdues and bring them in.

Stocktake commences:                                               Monday, November 26th.

Last chance to borrow all books:                              Monday, December 3rd

Library CLOSED for finalising stocktake:               Monday, December 18th

Students will be able to borrow all books right up until 3/12/2018. All books are due back into the library by 18/12/2018 unless returned earlier. If you are unable to find a library book then please contact Kym Allsep on 9772 4139 or allsep.kym.k@edumail.vic.gov.au

To all the families who have helped in the library, whether it be helping teachers and students with borrowing, helping shelve books or donating books, to the families who have supported our library by attending our annual book fair I say a big…..

Lamont Book 

This year's Lamont book fair was a huge success and our library raised over $700 in commission to spend on new books next year! If you have a favourite book you want to see in our library please let me know!

Terry Fennell

I would like to take this opportunity to thank a very special CHPS family.  Every year Mr Terry Fennell donates books to the classroom of his grandchildren, Alyx and Jules Ingram, and every year those books are returned to the library for all the students to read and enjoy. Terry’s family have donated hundreds of dollars to our library and hundreds of books to our school. This year was no exception. Terry has donated an entire series of Billabong books that are currently on display and ready to borrow. He has also donated a selection of books from Redgum Bookclub for the school, so an extra special thank you to the Ingram and Fennell families for your ongoing support.
