Parents and Friends Report

Wow! What a wonderful year it has been for CHPS in 2018. There has been a great buzz around the school. So many fantastic events have happened throughout this year. Some newly introduced to the school, like the Silent Disco and the Colour Fun Run were extra fun!

I am so very grateful to have been President this year on the PFA with such a terrific committee of parents and some new faces this year. I am proud of them all. They are the most committed, helpful, eager and organised bunch of parents l have ever seen on PFA. Well done guys. You are all legends!

Colour Fun Run

On Friday 16th of November we had the launch of our first Colour Fun Run at the school. Organised by Nicole Everett and with help from Ms Emily White, PFA, parents and teachers throughout the day, it was a highly successful, amazing, fun-filled colourful day. We raised $12,794 !! The weather was perfect and kids, teachers and parents had a ball. Best day for all with smiles all around!! Huge thank you to Nicole & Emily for their outstanding effort and all that were involved, for their hard work leading up to the event! Without you all, this event could not have been possible. Thank you to all the families that fundraised for your kids too. Amazing effort.

Christmas Market

On Saturday 24th November the school held the annual Christmas Market Ied by an amazing parent, Elda Kimberlee. There was a great community feeling on the day with stall holders, coffee van, jumping castles, Level 6's book stall & a BBQ held throughout the day with egg & bacon rolls & snags with onions (on top!). Outstanding effort from parent and teacher helpers once again and the PFA. Jane Satchwell & Pia Licciardo were amazing cooking all day with the help of Andy Choi from Area Specialist!.

Led by Level 6 teachers, James Ireson and Megan Thomas, the Level 6 students did extremely well with their Bookstall they held on the day. All profit goes towards their Graduation. The kids and parent helpers were fantastic. Thank you so much to everyone involved.
