Assistant Principal's Report

Christmas Market

What a fabulous market! A huge thank you to Elda and the PFA for putting together an amazing market on Election Day. Jane and I were present throughout the day and the vibe around the school was lovely. It was great to see so many teachers and parents assisting with the BBQ and a particular student, Kai P, spent 4 hours running errands and assisting in any way he could – thank you Kai!

The Premier’s wife, Catherine, visited our booth and said the market was outstanding and one of the highlights from her visits. Again, thank you Elda, Mandy and the PFA team for their support whether it was organising the market, pack up and setup or the BBQ. Your support is very much appreciated!

Mordialloc Bypass

Here is some information regarding the Mordialloc Bypass. Major Roads Projects Authority (MPRA) will upgrade the existing interchange at Thames Promenade, Chelsea, with the Mornington Peninsula Freeway, along with freeway entry and exit ramps. More details in this document:

Concerns and Complaints

Chelsea Heights Primary School believes that raising and dealing cooperatively with concerns and complaints plays a constructive role in the continuous improvement and maintenance of a safe and supportive learning environment.  In order to support you and your child we have a process in place. I have attached a copy of this flow chart that is also displayed in classrooms and in the office for you to refer to.

If you have any queries please ask or email us at:

chelsea.heights.ps@edumail.vic.gov.au

We do take concerns seriously and working together is pivotal in relation to any issue/concern, however it is important to consider the time and day when sending these emails to our staff.

2019 Booklists have been distributed to students. Order can ONLY be placed online using  this link:

Our school booklists also include parent contributions known as Essential Educational Items and Voluntary Financial Contributions. We aim to keep these contributions to a minimum to support our families within our school; this is to ensure we can continue to provide a high standard of quality education, up-to-date facilities and equipment. We rely heavily on parent contributions.
