What's Happening in the Library?

Books that 'blue' me away

The library's newest colourful display features books that 'blue' me away.  We found a wide selection of books on the shelves with blue covers to match the theme.

Some of our books on display include: Weirdo, Crazy Weird! (Anh Do), The Road to Gundagai (Jackie French) and Watership Down (Richard Adams).

The library is open every recess and second-half of lunch. Come in to browse our special displays or look for other reading treasures on our shelves!

Jigsaw space at the library

Who enjoys the challenge of a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle?

We currently have a multi-team effort underway in hopes of finishing our Amsterdam Canal jigsaw before the end of term. It has also been a lovely snug place to spend recess and lunch during some very cold and wintery days!

Chess Club

ASC Chess Club meets in the library every Tuesday lunchtime. Students are currently practising their skills in anticipation of their parent-coach rejoining the sessions next term.

The Chess Club had a very successful year in 2019, bringing back several trophies from competitions.

All students interested in playing (or wanting to learn) are welcome to join the Chess Club in the Library during both Lunch 1 and Lunch 2 on Tuesdays.
