Please remember that Semester 1 reports will not be sent out until Term 3, week 2, Monday July 20. As previously communicated, this will enable us the extra time to be able to deliver you a quality formal report.
Re: Camps, Sports and Excursions Funding
Earlier in the year the I sent an email to families regarding the Camps, Sports & Excursions Funding (CSEF), eligible to families who hold one of the following :-
Veterans Affairs Gold Card
Centrelink Health Care Card
Pensioner Concession Card
Since this email the Victorian Department of Education is discussing extending the criteria to include families who have recently suffered a loss of income as a result of the economic downturn associated with the pandemic and now have one of the above cards as a result.
Although it is not yet clear if the Victorian Department of Education is going to approve these application the School has been asked to communicate with families to complete an application form and to submit on their behalf before the extended time of July 24th.
Please note – families who have already submitted an application earlier in the year are not required to do this.
If you think that you meet the above criteria, please contact the Office via email at: office@sanoblepark.catholic.edu.au to obtain an application form. Please note that application forms must be returned to the School before 24 July 2020.
Warm regards
Patrika Rowley
Thank you for your patience as we transition back to regular programs. The Music Bus will be returning to St Anthony's in Term 3. We have been closely monitoring the situation and feel confident that starting in Term 3 was the safest option due to COVID-19. If you are enrolled with Music Bus you will receive a notification from them soon.
We are certainly thrilled with the many changes that have occurred here to our physical spaces during COVID-19. We are especially proud of Chris for creating our outdoor classroom around the chicken coup which means that we have some shelter and a wind break in Winter and some more shade in Summer. Chris has just transformed the Community Garden and we thank him so much.
This is how we anticipate our student voice to impact our new outdoor learning space. How cool does it look?
A very big congratulations to Malka Geloye, year 3/4BA and Malka's family on the safe arrival of a baby brother, Emmanuelle. We are thrilled for you all.
A very big congratulations to Mario Perera, year 3/4NG and Mario's family on the safe arrival of Malin, a baby brother. We congratulate you.
We send our love and prayers to Debi Tamene Year 3/4BA and Debbie's family on the loss of Debbie's grandfather. It is very sad as they couldn't get to say goodbye as he was living overseas. Condolences also to Isabella and Victoria Deng Daniel on the loss of their Grandfather, also overseas.
Critical Dates
Due to the extended deadline, the timeline of events has been updated to the following:
Please do not use the Alfred ST gate to drop off school children. This gate is for the ELC children only. You need to use the drop and go further along Alfred St where a teacher is on duty or the front car park.
The front entrance to the school via the carpark has changed. Please do not enter through the worksite especially with children.
Please use the side gate to enter and exit around the outside of the hall.
Thank you for your cooperation.
We are aware that many books have not been returned since Covid. Please return all books so your children can continue to borrow.
Please click here to access our new Covid-19 Visitor & Volunteer Policy. It is important for everyone in the community to read the policy. Any visitor who has permission to enter the school site must sign the Declaration form.

Please remember that the roll is marked daily and attendance is a requirement. Remote learning has concluded. Coming to school everyday to learn is an absolute necessity. Our students cannot learn effectively if they have a significant number of days off, or even if they are regular late comers. Make sure you get behind Every Day Counts!!
Each day of school missed makes a difference, with the effect on learning accumulating over time. From an early age, if children are taught that they need to 'show up' for school and make a commitment, this positive mentality aids academic and career success and brings benefits in adulthood.
TO MAKE THE MOST OF THEIR POTENTIAL NO CHILD SHOULD MISS MORE THAN 2-3 DAYS OF SCHOOL PER TERM.
If your child is going to be absent from school, please call the school office on 95460044 by 9.00am. Alternatively, you can email the school to notify of your child’s absence at office@sanoblepark.catholic.edu.au, or log the absence via the link on the website.
If we do not receive notification of an absence by 9.30am we are required under regulations to message you at home or work to follow up the absence. Please notify the school of all absences. Please note that prolonged absences without notification will be followed up. Many days absent from school does impact on student learning and programs designed to support students.
