Japanese update!

Recently, P-2 students have been doing a lot of singing, with one of those songs being the Japanese hand washing song. It's been great hearing students sing and hum the song while washing their hands outside class.

In the last few weeks on remote online learning, the grade 3/4s created a Japanese quiz as a year level. They thought of some tricky questions which certainly challenged their peers to think hard and remember all of their learning from Prep.

The grade 5/6s researched places and experiences they would do in Japan to create a short itinerary for their dream Japan trip. The ideas shared were inspiring and they should be proud of the enthusiasm, creativity and care they put into the task.

For the remainder of term, students will be focusing on:

Prep: Greetings and classroom routines in Japanese

Grade 1/2: Colours and singing the song, Niji

Grades 3-6: Games and activities using hiragana letters
